FIVE STARS TOUR

7 days, 6 nights enjoying the hospitality of three luxurious 4- and 5-star hotels situated in fabulous locations in two beautiful countries. 5 legendary and spectacular routes that will put any cyclist to the test—a true challenge against oneself and the mountains that have shaped the history of cycling.
From JUN to SEPTEMBER, a traveling tour through incomparable scenery, starting from Lake Como, with the climb of Monte Ghisallo, and after 2 days moving toward the high mountains, through Saint Moritz, Switzerland, and finishing in Bormio after having tackled the slopes of the Stelvio, Mortirolo and Gavia passes.

11:00–14:00 arrive at Milan Malpensa airport. Transfer in our vehicles, or arrive by private vehicle, to Hotel Royal Victoriain Varenna and get settled in the rooms. In the afternoon it will be possible to go for a test ride. In the evening, a welcome drink will be offered on the terrace overlooking the lake. Dinner at the hotel, featuring typical dishes from the area.

9:30 first stage, 60 km. Medium difficulty. Breakfast and departure; the ride heads out along the lake, passing Mondello and Lecco and climbing the Ghisallo from Asso. A break to visit the Madonna del Ghisallo sanctuary, and then the descent to Bellagio. Possibility to eat lunch there and return by ferry to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

9:30 second stage, 100km. Difficult. Breakfast and ride out to the north toward Chiavenna; cross the border into Switzerland; climb to Maloja and ride along the Sils, Silvaplana and Saint Moritz lakes; and finish the stage at Hotel Saratz in Pontresina, Switzerland. Check-in, welcome drink and typical dinner at La Court.

9:30 fourth stage, 105km. Very difficult. Start from Pontresina, cross the Swiss National Park and Stelvio Pass and finish at Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi in Bormio, Italy. Check-in and dinner at the hotel.

9:00–12:00 breakfast atthe hotel, checkout and departure. Leave for Milan Malpensa airport or transfer to Hotel Royal Victoria in Varenna for those with cars to reclaim.

Days 1 and 2: Hotel Royal Victoria in Varenna on Lake Como. Located directly on the lake and in the historic center of Varenna, a town with ancient origins that is one of the most prized tourist destinations in the world.

Days 3 and 4: Hotel SaratzatPontresinain the Engadine Valley, Switzerland. Elegant and informal, modern and charming at the same time, the mix of old and new creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The habits of modern life blend with the Engadine tradition of hospitality, while the dimensions blend with the design and nature with the architecture. For an unforgettable vacation in an enchanting setting surrounded by the mountains of the Engadine.

Days 5 and 6: Gran Hotel BagniNuovidi Bormio. A jewel of Art Nouveau architecture with 74 rooms, almost all with bathrooms featuring whirlpool baths with water from the mineral springs and color therapy. Many rooms offer a breathtaking view of the Alps of Bormio and the Stelvio ski run. Equipped with a spa and wellness center of approximately 11,000 square meters.
