THE FLANDERS: THE REGION OF THE FLANDERS
Welcome to the romance of the Flanders, the seductive northern region of Belgium! Here the cities of art conglomerate amidst the green plain landscape like lucent stars in the upper atmosphere: all of them, great and small, known to give with generosity their richness in both historical and artistic wealth.

Cathedral and churches overflowing with treasures, interesting museums which one could get lost in for hours, architecture which spans over centuries and styles Rubens, Van Eyck, Breughel, Horta, Landuyt, Panamarenko are only some of more famous sons of this rich region both past and present. But “Flanders” does not only mean art: here one also finds history, culture, nature, fun, gastronomy, optimal service, shores and all this that belongs to the so-called “living art”.
THE CITY OF THE FLANDERS
Brussels, is the main city of the Flanders, but also happens to be the capital of Belgium. The name derives from the ancient Dutch word “Broeksel” meaning marsh (broek) and home (sel), “home of the marsh”.
Bruges is the capital of Western Flanders and is the most important political and trade centre in Northern Europe. Conserved entirely in its original form, Bruges can be discovered via tours in a boat, or by foot or by car.
The “Markt” with its splendid Houses of Corporations, the frequent performing concerts of the 47 bell Carillion 47 in Belfry tower , the ancient public square of the Burg, the Gruuthuse Museum with the great altarpiece of the Flemish Primitive, the museum of the porcelain and diamonds…
The entire city, with the canals, the All the city, with its channels, the Béguinage and “the lake of love - Lake Minnewater”, an oasis of peace and sweetness inviting you on a vacation which teaches you to relax.
